$REECoin Summary & FAQ
REE was previously scammed by its original Dev. This caused the coin to drop from its all time high of 8293 SATS on 13th July 17 to 1 SAT in September 17.
Recently the team aquired a New Dev and new team members in addition to 4 of the original team members who were not involved in the lead dev’s scam.
The team are dedicated to bringing REE back and have set about creating a new Roadmap, Whitepaper and upgraded wallets. In addition they are seeking to establish and grow on other exchanges.
Livecoin is the exchange where you can buy & sell REE At present the livecoin wallets are disabled and have been since the scam. This means your coins if purchased today are held on Livecoin and cannot be moved. There are no known issues with Livecoin exchange and are as safe as they are as far as being held on any exchange goes.
The team and community members are and should continue to ask Livecoin to allow for the new wallets update. This walet update should then allow for coins to be moved to and from Livecoin. At present Livecoin have provided a number of responses including
“ReeCoin(REE) is temporarily disabled due to coin network problem. It will be available when we make sure that the network is working properly” and also another response stating they can only discuss technical aspects with the Dev. We assume this response relates to the previous lead dev who scammed the community.
That being said you need to tweet / raise support tickets highlighting this issue and expressing your concerns with something similar to….
“Hi Guys, I have bought REE coins on here but the wallets are disabled? The Dev’s have stated that they need you to update the wallets to V2.0. Can you let us know whats happening? I’m a little disappointed because you have a good exchange but I think its wrong that you allow people to buy coins on the your exchange who then cant do anything with them!? Hopefully your working on this and I would be really grateful if you could address this as soon as practicable. The team are trying to revive this coin as a result of previous fraudulent activity and are seeking to resolve this issue in order to provide an open, transparent and legitimate virtual currency”
Whilst the team continue to work on numerous ways to resolve this issue, it remains in the hands of Livecoin. Attempts have and are being made to locate / reach out to previous lead Dev. Any community member who has any details like this should provide it to any member of the admin team to facilitate further communication efforts.
This is a long term project and the issues detailed above are the no 1 priority for the whole community. This needs to be resolved before REE can make any further progress.
Please try to refrain from bombarding the team with questions that are covered here because at this moment in time this is all that is known. This is because its preventing them from getting on with the tasks in hand.
This is a community project and will need the help and support of everyone to make it succeed once again. If you have any ideas / suggestions please feel free to message the team.
